King of Thieves

Director
James Marsh
Certificate
15
Running Time
108 mins

The inevitable Hatton Garden heist flick is a full-on veteran geezerfest with a cast led by Michael Caine. Among his old lag crew are Tom Courtenay, Ray Winstone, Jim Broadbent, Charlie Cox, Paul Whitehouse and Michael Gambon.

James Marsh, whose credits include Man on Wire and The Theory of Everything, is behind the camera and the script is developed from Mark Seal‘s Vanity Fair article The Over the Hill Mob. Gird your loins for another rehearsal of that hand-wringing debate about the morality of glamorising reprehensible criminal activity in a jolly crime caper.
