Back in 2001, Kevin Smith promised that Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back would be his last film with the New Jersey dope dealers, played by Jason Mewes and himself. He lied, obviously.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot couldn’t be more meta if it tried, as the duo set out to stop the production of a ‘reboot’ of their Bluntman and Chronic flick. That’s right: a knowing reboot taking the piss out of reboots. There are plenty of cameos to distract you (Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Chris Hemsworth, Shannon Elizabeth, etc), though you may be forgiven for feeling that the stoner duo have now delighted us enough.
