Adapted from Tomihiko Morimi’s bestselling book of the same title, this bizarre anime romcom centres on a bloke who sets out to stalk a younger colleague (named only as The Girl with Black Hair), with whom he has become obsessed, as he attempts to manipulate her into liking him.
It’s colourful enough, but the creepy subject matter perhaps underlines the insurmountable cultural differences
