The Antics Joke Show presents “The best stand-up, sketch and improv in town” (Wriggle Bristol).
Featuring a headline set from UK Musical Comedy Awards winners Jollyboat, “the UK’s top comedy pirate nerd rock duo” who mix comedy, live music, visuals, audience interaction and a little behind-the-scenes computer programming.
Plus longform improv from Halfway Up, a new venture by Up The Antics. “Apparently we thought writing and performing sketches wasn’t enough, so why not do both at the same time?! Just give us a word and we’ll improvise an entire sketch set!”
Stand-up from Richard James, an “unashamed nerd for history and science fiction. The material that he uses stretches from topical humour, to bizarre family stories, to films and history.” Plus Micky Baker, a stand-up and improviser from Bristol.
