Third instalment of this competitive live painting event, which has already seen two hugely successful instalments in Bristol.
The Art Battle events invite audiences to see inside the creative process of incredible artists across three 20-minute rounds.
Competing artists can paint any subject they choose. The first and second rounds have six artists each, and the final round features four artists total – two artists are picked by the audience from each of the first two rounds.
In the end, only one artist will be Champion (aside from a tie). A live DJ and MC lead the audience with the painters going head to head live.
Artists this time include Verity Filipow, who creates illustrative creatures and monsters;Annika Wilkinson who speaks of energy, freedom and vibes; and Nick Bethell who loves to perform and paint quickly.
Plus for this event only, after an impressive display of skill at the last Art Battle on July 2 left him the winner, renowned Bristol artist Andrew Burns Colwill returns as the Feature Painter. In the 2 hours of the event, he can create a work with no size, colour nor technique restrictions live.
All works created will be available for silent auction on the night.
