England and Scotland train in Bristol ahead of World Cup quarter-final
Bristol is currently the base for both England and Scotland as they prepare for their Women’s Rugby World Cup quarter-final at Ashton Gate.
The two squads are staying and training in the city, and will remain here longer if they win on Sunday as the tournament’s two semi-finals are also in BS3.
On Wednesday, England trained at SGS College in Filton and Scotland were put through their paces at Clifton College.
is needed now More than ever
At SGS, a few students who had got wind of the England squad being there made their way to a pitch in the corner of the grounds while a drone hovered overhead filming the drills.
England are overwhelming favourites for Sunday, with the Scots hoping to pull off what has been described as “the greatest upset in the history of the game – women and men”.
