In photos: Great Bristol Run 2026
The AJ Bell Great Bristol Run was the biggest ever in 2026, with 23,000 people setting off from a new start line near the Cenotaph and a flipped course from previous years.
That meant the first few miles zig-zagged through the winding streets of the city centre and Redcliffe, before over Prince Street Bridge to Cumberland Road, and the Portway for half-marathon runners and avoiding the Portway for 10k runners, with runners of both distances sharing the finishing straight of Hotwell Road and Anchor Road.
