Unidentified male slashes tyres of multiple vehicles deliberately

By Karen Johnson  Monday Jul 14, 2025

Tyres of at least ten vehicles were slashed across three roads in Fishponds.

A lone male, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, slashed the tyres of multiple parked vehicles in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The tyre-slashing incidents have currently been reported on Everest Road, River View and Frome Terrace, with Avon and Somerset Police appealing other potential victims from the same or neighbouring roads to come forward.

Preliminary investigation into the incidents has revealed no apparent links between the victims.

River View is one of three roads where the tyre-slashing incidents were reported

This “mindless vandalism” according to police constable Sophie Fraser, has left a huge impact on all the victims.

She added: “ The victims now face expensive bills to replace the damaged tyres.

“We will be increasing patrols in the area.

“We would ask people to come forward and make reports if they have become a victim, and we are also asking residents to check CCTV and doorbell camera footage for any potential evidence.”

The suspect remains unidentified and anyone with information about him or these incidents is urged to contact the police.
