These are Bristol’s 20 best primary schools
The top performing primary schools in Bristol have been revealed in new government data.
Bristol’s best primary schools can be ranked on the percentage of pupils meeting the expected standard at the end of key stage 2 in 2025.
These are:
- Westbury Park School (91%)
- Evergreen Primary Academy (89%)
- Summerhill Academy (89%)
- Bishop Road Primary School (86%)
- Hotwells Primary School (85%)
- Elmlea Junior School (83%)
- Bridge Learning Campus (81%)
- Oasis Academy Bank Leaze (81%)
- St Peter & Paul RC Primary School (81%)
- Perry Court E-Act Academy (80%)
- Minerva Primary Academy (79%)
- St John’s Church of England Primary School (77%)
- Stoke Bishop Church of England Primary School (77%)
- Oasis Academy Marksbury Road (75%)
- Southville Primary School (75%)
- Ashton Vale Primary School (74%)
- E-Act St Ursula’s Academy (74%)
- Headley Park Primary School (73%)
- Bridge Farm Primary School (72%)
- Cheddar Grove Primary School (72%)
According to the government data, “pupils are meeting the expected standard if they achieve a scaled score of 100 or more in their reading and maths tests, and their teacher assesses them as ‘working at the expected standard’ or better in writing”.
The Bristol average for meeting the expected standard is 59 per cent and the UK average is 62 per cent.
