Square sealed off after attack

King Square near Stokes Croft was sealed off by police after one man was left in hospital following an altercation.

Bristol24/7 understands the man in his 30s was being treated for injuries likely to have been caused by a broken bottle.

A man in his 40s was arersted on suspision of assault and was also taken to hospital for his injuries which are not thought to be serious.

The assaults took place at 1am on Sunday morning.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bristol Investigations on 101, quoting 5216121899.
