Silent march through Bristol calls for urgent humanitarian aid for Gaza

By Martin Booth  Monday May 26, 2025

Hundreds of people took part in a silent march through Bristol with a single drumbeat marking each of their steps.

‘Stop starving Gaza’ was on a banner at the front of the march while the names of hundreds of children killed had been written on sheets of paper carried by protesters.

Activists are calling for urgent humanitarian aid for Gaza, where growing numbers of children face starvation amid the ongoing conflict.
