By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Jul 8, 2015

The Portway was closed after a person “jumped or fell” from Clifton Suspension Bridge.

The incident occurred two days after the Downs Committee met to consider higher fencing around the Avon Gorge.

It also happened on the same day a pre-inquest review into the death of Charlotte Bevan and her six-day old baby in December.
