More than 60 people now arrested after ‘kill the bill’ riot
Sixty-two people have now been arrested following the ‘kill the bill’ riot on March 21.
A 14-year-old boy has also attended a voluntary interview in connection with the violent events that broke out around Bridewell police station in the city centre.
Police vans were set alight and windows of the police station smashed over the course of the evening, with police chiefs admitting that no officers suffered broken bones contrary to initial reports.
