Massive fire breaks out on former industrial site
Billowing smoke rose from a corner of south Bristol after a fire was started deliberately on a former industrial site.
The blaze broke out on what used to be the premises of Bristol Metal Spraying & Protective Coatings on Coronation Road.
The sprawling site opposite the Premier convenience store contains a number of buildings.
One graffiti-covered building overlooking the New Cut opposite Underfall Yard was almost fully alight when the fire was at its most serious and still had flames licking its roof at 5.45pm.

At least two fire engines were on the scene as smoke rose into the sky.
The blaze broke out as hundreds of Bristol City and QPR fans were walking along Coronation Road following the end of their match at Ashton Gate.
