Man dies after Shirehampton assault

A man has died after being assaulted in Shirehampton last month.

Avon and Somerset Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the attack which happened at about 5pm outside The George Inn pub in High Street, on November 26.

Police want to trace three people shown in CCTV who may have seen the assault, and they are appealing for them to get in touch.

A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the assault and has been released on bail until 27 January.
