Lakota

By Bristol24/7  Sunday Oct 19, 2014

Proper job rave institution and one of the places that put Bristol on the national clubbing map. Several decades on, it remains a lynchpin of the city’s clubscene, hosting everything from big name hip-hop shows to gargantuan drum & bass mash-ups, trance all-nighters and a load of house, reggae and whatnot too.
The building is the only remaining part of the Stokes Croft Brewery and is part of the Stokes Croft Conservation Area, but you’d never know it from the inside, especially not once Tribe of Frog have gone nuts with the UV decor and lasers.
