In photos: Windrush Walk
For the past three years the Bristol Steppin Sistas, a walking group for women of colour, have organised a walk through St Paul’s on Windrush Day.
Sunday afternoon was no different as dozens of people came out to Portland Square, dressed in an array of vibrant colours, for a one-hour walk before ending with a party at Agnes Park.
Since 2018, the UK government has recognised June 22 as Windrush Day.

Windrush Day is a national day of celebration that highlights the importance of post-war African-Caribbean migration to the UK.
