Huge water fight planned in Millennium Square

A giant water fight has been planned for Bristol as temperatures are set to rise.

The Smile Instigation Collective, a group who say they are dedicated to “infecting people with happy”, have organised the fight in Millennium Square on Wednesday.

The event starts at 7.30pm, with the weather set to be partly cloudy with temperatures of 18C.

The Smile Instigation Collective said: “Join us for a giant water fight! To celebrate the last session of the Smile Instigation Collective we are going to decorate the fountains at millennium square with recycled flowers!

“Once we’ve prettied the place up get ready for an awesome water fight! Bring rubber rings, water balloons, arm bands, water pistols, get on your speedos and invite all your duck friends!”

On Tuesday afternoon almost 3,000 people had already signed up to attend the event.
