Crowdfunding for The Bristol Music Show
The Bristol Music Show (BMS), a collective that supports and celebrates the city’s vibrant and hugely diverse musical talent, has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign to keep its important work afloat.
A group of volunteers from the project have been broadcasting a weekly radio programme on BCfm Radio for the past year, featuring live acoustic sessions, interviews and discussions about the local music scene.
After a hugely positive response to the programme the team decided to turn things up a notch, and plan to launch their first ever show on Made in Bristol TV this autumn, with the help of the public.
Money raised will go towards creating a show that gives local musicians a new platform for performance and promotion, whilst providing Bristol viewers with quality reporting from local events and access to live sessions.
The campaign will also fund a series of gigs put on by BMS, which will create a lasting network for the city’s musicians and music lovers alike.
By contributing to the crowdfunding campaign, donors can win a range of prizes depending on their amount, from radio shout-outs to CDs and gig tickets.
