Body discovered believed to be missing Isaac

By Bristol24/7  Friday May 12, 2017

A body recovered from the River Avon on Friday morning is believed to be missing Isaac Morris.

The 25-year-old, who lived on Cambridge Park in Redland, was reported missing last Friday, but police had called off their search for him after it was believed he had fallen from the Clifton Suspension Bridge.

Isaac, originally from Tavistock in Devon and who had Type One diabetes, left his house without his medication and phone, taking only his wallet as he left on foot.

Isaac worked at the Berkeley pub on the Clifton Triangle and was a volunteer at St Werburgh’s City Farm.

Formal identification has not yet taken place but police have informed Isaac’s family about the discovery of the body from the water next to the Paintworks.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

The Samaritans can be contacted on 116 123.
