Stepbrother charged with Becky Watts’ murder

Becky Watts’ stepbrother Nathan Matthews, 28, of Cotton Mill Lane, Bristol, has been charged with her murder.

His partner 21-year-old Shauna Hoare, of the same address, has been charged with intending to pervert the course of justice.

The pair remain in custody and are due before Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Thursday morning at 10am.

The four men and one woman who were arrested on Monday on suspicion of assisting an offender remain in police custody.

Becky went missing from her home in St George on February 19. A body was found at a house in Barton Hill on Monday evening.
