Barclays is targeted again in Bristol
Barclays bank has come under attack in Bristol for a second time in as many days, as protesters scrawled anti-fracking graffiti across the exterior of the Clifton Triangle branch.
“Toxic bankers” and “frack off” were the slogans prominently painted in neon colours at the branch’s entrance on Friday, following on from a protest in Broadmead the day before, in which campaigners occupied the roof for several hours, before eventually being brought down by emergency services
It is not yet known whether or not it is the same people targeting the bank a second time round, but the action is part of a campaign against “the bank’s destructive fracking practises.”
The graffiti certainly caught the attention of people in the city centre as several gathered to witness:

Thursday’s protest met with a mixed response from passers-by, as some spoke out in solidarity, but others accused campaigners of wasting police time.
