Arrests over Easton pub shooting
A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with a shooting at a pub in Easton in June.
A 25-year-old man was shot outside the Jolly Roger pub on Sunday, June 19, in the third shooting in just over a year.
Police said they attended a property off the A420 in St George where they arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder and a woman on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
The victim suffered stomach wounds after the shooting, but recovered in hospital.
An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesperson said: “We’d like to thank the local community for their patience while the police activity was taking place.”
