Arrest after body found in Kingswood
A man has been arrested after a the body of a woman was discovered in Kingswood in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The 43-year-old woman was found on Hill Street and police say her injuries suggested she had been hit by a car.
A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.

Det Insp Louise Boyce said: “We have a team of officers and staff working on this and despite an arrest being made this is still an active and ongoing inquiry.
“A post-mortem examination is due to take place later today to establish the cause of the woman’s death and following this a formal identification procedure will take place.”
