By Martin Booth  Thursday Feb 20, 2025

A dozen fire engines rushed to a serious house fire.

The blaze in Leigh Woods on Thursday morning is believed to have started in a flat before spreading to a house next door.

A section of a roof in a home on Bannerleigh Road on the North Somerset side of the Clifton Suspension Bridge has been badly burnt with the timber frames visible.
