Bristol A.R.C. has been caring for the city’s pets and wildlife since 1887, helping, healing and homing over 14,000 vulnerable animals each year. They are the longest-standing and largest local animal charity, and although they are proud to be affiliated with the RSPCA, they receive no automatic funding from it. They rely entirely on local support within the community to fund their vital work.

Much of this support comes from individuals choosing to leave gifts in their Wills to charities close to their heart and these gifts and legacies come in many different forms. Some people wish to leave a specified amount whilst others prefer to leave a chosen percentage. Any gift – no matter how big or small – helps Bristol A.R.C. to care for Bristol’s animals in need and leaving a gift in your Will is an incredible way to support Bristol A.R.C. long into the future.

E.L.M Legal Services in Bristol are offering a free Will to any individual wishing to leave a gift to Bristol A.R.C (205858) and this support is vital as around half of the charity’s income comes from individuals leaving gifts in their Will.

Where does this money go?  Legacies allow Bristol A.R.C. to transform their centre to offer the animals more modern and comfortable environments during their stay, the money also allows them to purchase life-saving medical equipment for their Clinic. The aim is to find loving homes for every animal free from pain, neglect and cruelty. The Clinic cares for all of the animals from the Rehoming Centre as well as wildlife emergencies, animals belonging to families from a low income or facing financial hardship, and animals that arrive with RSPCA Inspectors from situations of cruelty or neglect.

If you are an animal lover, leaving a gift in your will to Bristol A.R.C. is an incredible way to be remembered long into the future.
