Bristol skate scene mini-series

By Meena Alexander  Monday Nov 23, 2015

UK skateboarding magazine Sidewalk has launched a series of videos following some of Bristol’s most well-known skaters as they do what they do best at their usual haunts.

Despite the construction of several purpose-built parks in Bristol, including Motion Ramp Park and The Campus Pool, skaters in the area are still known to utilise any appropriate space for practicing their ollies, grinds and 360s.

The High Tide series, which currently consists of four episodes, has been filmed in various locations including College Green, Lloyds Amphitheatre and Millennium Square, and serves to showcase the thriving DIY skate scene that has been a characteristic of the city since the early seventies.
