Bristol Charity Advent Calendar – day 22
St Mungo’s homelessness charity has 22 projects across Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset.
Via their street outreach service, they go out day and night to connect with people sleeping rough and offering support to build a life away from the streets, as well as providing safe shelter for 51 women who are homeless.
As well as this, they work hard to help people in Bristol who are suffering from mental health issues.
St Mungo’s also makes sure that they reach out to people who are currently underrepresented in mental health services including LGBT, refugees, and black and ethnic minority groups.
