A video message of thanks from North Bristol NHS Trust staff
From Swahili to Mandarin, Nepalese to Makaton, staff at North Bristol NHS Trust have said thank you in dozens of different languages in a special video.
Filmed by Southmead Hospital communications officer Emily Holloway, the video was made to mark the national #ThankYouNHS campaign.
“I made the video to celebrate the many wonderful people from all over the world who work so hard and show so much kindness every single day at NBT, and to offer them the chance in their own unique voices to say thank you to each other and to the NHS,” Emily told Bristol24/7.
“I contacted everyone I know across the Trust and asked if they would be willing or if they knew anyone who might be interested, and I had hundreds of responses of so many people who were so proud for the opportunity to speak their mother tongue.”
