‘Innovative’ retail pop-up opens
A new retail pop-up concept aiming to “revitalise the high street” has opened in Cabot Circus.
The pop-up, named Cache, is located on Quakers Friars and proclaims itself a place “where future-facing design, fashion and creativity are kept curated, considered, cult, and ultimately commercial.”
Cache aims to allow for direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands to test the waters of physical retail, but with “minimal risk” involved.
is needed now More than ever
Launched as a collaboration between platform Lone Design Club, which connects DTC fashion and lifestyle brands with short-term retail spaces, and Cabot Circus landlord Hammerson, Cache will remain on the site until February 1 2026.

Cache will include brands such as Kina & Tam, KOI Footwear, Hell Bunny and Colorush, all, they state, “known for their creative, community-led, and sustainable approaches to fashion.”
Cache say that they will “host regular events and activities that bring brands and customers closer together.”
The pop-up’s opening comes the same week as the closure of the Cabot Circus Apple Store, who announced they would be leaving on August 9 after more than 15 years ahead of the redevelopment of Quakers Friars.
