Witchy bookshop to host singles night

“Live out your fantasy of meeting someone in a bookshop” at this singles night.

 The Haunted Bookshop in Stokes Croft is inviting singles in for “a night of slow conversations, stolen glances, and stories shared between the shelves.”

The bookshop’s meet-cute event will also be offering hopeful singles a sneak peak into the future in the form of a tarot reading from Ra Ra Tarot.

The event that starts at 6.30pm on Friday, June 6 will have a gathering exclusively for over 30s followed by a separate 8:45pm gathering for under 30s.

Guests are encouraged to bring a pre-loved book to gift someone.

Spaces are limited, with only 30 tickets on sale for each gathering. Tickets are £20 and include 10 per cent off everything in store.

After popular demand, they also added a Queer singles night to their calendar, taking place from 6:30pm on Friday, June 20.

The Haunted Bookshop opened in September and specialises in occult, fantasy and horror books.

It sells a range of witch-themed paraphernalia including candles, spell jars and oracle cards.

Founded by Monika Killer, the shop doubles as a venue for workshops and tarot readings, even hosting a monthly book club.
