By Sofia Lambis  Thursday May 1, 2025

Cotswold-based retailer Runners Need are opening a store in Clifton.

The new store is a response to the popularity of running in Bristol, which Runners Need says has become a “running hotspot”.

Located on Queens Road in the Clifton Triangle, the store opens on Friday and will sell outdoor footwear, technology and running nutrition.

The store will offer a gait analysis service which uses customers’ running style and foot shape to find them the right pair of shoes.

Andy Dopson, head of retail at Runners Need said, “We’re incredibly excited to serve the Bristol running community  – one that has seen exponential growth in recent times – with the very best running and outdoor footwear.”

The store opens just in time for the Great Bristol Run, which takes place on May 11.
