A-Z Bristol pub crawl: Jaded Dragon, Whiteladies Road
Walking into this bar on Whiteladies Road is like being transported to a backstreet alley in China.
Located next to the WG Grace, the two establishments could not be more different.
The Jaded Dragon’s decor is eye-catching and intriguing, with neon signs pulling your eyes in all different directions.

On a Friday evening many people pass in and out, escaping the bustle and rowdy student crowds into a 1930s-themed tiki experience.
The long curated menu leaves you spoilt for choice, but a Marmite cocktail sparks the most curiosity.
Baijiu, a classic Chinese liquor, may be the bar’s speciality, but they still offer classic cocktails (with a twist), wine, beer and other spirits – the options seem endless.

The drinks menu is accompanied with a booklet on different baijiu types– allowing you to spend the time reading as you await the delivery of your drinks.
One couple at the bar toy with trying something new or sticking to the comfort of a pint or pornstar martini.
The bar’s new wooden interiors and the combination of drink ingredients mix to create a tangy smell that fills the air.
Feel good house music travels through your ears, merging with the chatter of guests and the laughs and conversations of the friendly bar staff.
Time passes effortlessly here, as guests move freely between the lively bar area, the chilled ‘rooftop’ area upstairs and the club-like dance section at the back. This place has it all.
