New campaign encourages revellers to enjoy festivals with ‘more clarity’
A new campaign led by a leading Bristol brewery is encouraging people to enjoy festivals with “more clarity” in the summer.
Launched by Bristol Beer Factory (BBF), ‘A Summer to Remember’ hopes to introduce people to their alcohol-free brew Clear Head and raise awareness and funds for collaborating mental health charity Talk Club.
Specially recruited Clear Head ambassadors will introduce revellers to the alcohol-free beer. They will also be formally trained as ‘Talk Club captains’, who will ask attendees how they are feeling on a scale of one to ten. The quick check-in will help them raise the issue of mental health during their interactions at festivals.

Clear Head will be poured at many leading festivals across the UK, including Shindig, Forwards and the London Craft Beer Festival, for alcohol-free attendees or those partaking in zebra striping, the practice of alternating alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages.
Brand marketing manager at BBF, Kezia FG William said that with Clear Head now available at many UK festivals people could “be here for every moment”.
Co-founder of Talk Club, Ben Akers said: “Talk Club is on a mission to create a mentally fit society. We’re a positive mental health charity created to help people talk about their emotions by asking “How are you? Out of Ten?” Ten being top of the world. One being rock bottom. Then working out if talking or running or laughing or dancing will increase our numbers. All these things are good for our mental fitness.
“We know that doing things like being around positive people, making new friends and listening to great music will all improve our numbers. That’s why this campaign is a great idea for the ideals of Talk Club. Go out, meet new people, have fun and keep your numbers high.”
