Bristol Beer Factory become custodians of historic pub
Bristol Bears fans heading through Hotwells after Sunday’s match could toast their team’s win at a new outside bar at the Pump House.
The Bristol Beer Factory-branded bar is a clue as to the new custodians of the pub.
The Pump House is the latest in the stable of Bristol Beer Factory locations alongside their tap room on North Street, the Barley Mow in St Philip’s, the Junction in Wapping Wharf and the Arnolfini cafe-bar.

Among the changes brought in by the new custodians is that the Pump House is no longer table service.
“Just scrum at the bar for your tipple of choice,” the new Pump House team wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a photograph of a Bristol Beer Factory pint on their terrace.
