10 Bristol pubs named among England’s best
Some of Bristol’s most-loved boozers have made it to a national list celebrating England’s best pubs.
The ten pubs are among 500 chosen by beer writer Will Hawkes.
Published in the Daily Telegraph, the list representing “the very best the country has to offer” was curated based on the pubs’ “charming character, welcoming staff, rich history and award-winning beer”.

The pubs from Bristol that have made it to the list are:
- The Avon Packet, Southville
- The Bag of Nails, Hotwells
- The Barley Mow, St Philip’s
- The Green Man, Kingsdown
- The Highbury Vaults, Kingsdown
- The King’s Head, Victoria Street
- The Llandoger Trow, King Street
- The Nova Scotia, Spike Island
- The Orchard Inn, Spike Island
- The Swan with Two Necks, St Jude’s
