The Crick Crack Club bring Christmas Carols Show back to Bristol
Founded in 1987, leading performance storytellers The Crick Crack Club have programmed work at venerable institutions including The National Theatre, the British Library, the Barbican, Shakespeare’s Globe and The Wellcome Trust.
Beyond London, they are regular producers of sellout shows across the UK, including the Cube in Bristol – a city with a burgeoning community of storytelling enthusiasts.
To herald the arrival of the festive season, they will be bringing two Christmas carols shows to The Mount Without on December 7; an evening performance as well as a matinee for families.

“We’ve untangled our fairylights and polished our best baubles ready to fill your stockings with festive frippery, glee and a touch of magic”, they say.
“Join us to unwrap a teetering pile of winter-wonderlandish fairytales and glowing-by-the-fire other-tales; eat mince pies; drink mulled wine; exorcise any hint of Scrooge; skid down the icy lanes of the very best Christmas carols, and most of all, sing your heart out!”

The lineup will feature stories from Crick Crack founder and world-famous storyteller Ben Haggerty, as well as Tim Ralphs and Steph Brittain, with carol singing led by Sheema Mukherjee and Raoul Neumann.
Ticket sale profits will be donated to the work of the Museum of Homelessness.
