Kathryn Haywood brings ‘Magic & Sex’ to the Alma Tavern & Theatre
Kathryn Haywood is an experienced stage actor and voice over artist who spent her 20s in Hong Kong dubbing old Kung Fu and Japanese animé movies into English.
Following her foray into comedy with the 2024 sellout Edinburgh Fringe show Yoga & Sex…. For Women (Over 40), she is now back with Magic & Sex, which she has co-created with Dan Mersh – a comedy actor and writer whose impressive list of credits includes Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa, The Death Of Stalin, 15 Storeys High, Sex Education, Slow Horses, Veep and The Thick Of It.
The show calls at The Alma Tavern & Theatre on July 29, midway through a string of UK tour dates.

In it, we’re told that Haywood has decided “to delve into the art of illusion” and to transform into a magician before our very eyes.
