A pair of Christmas Trolls are coming to BS3
Tig and Mig are a pair of mischievous trolls in a tight spot, having just lost their jobs at the Clifton Suspension Bridge. On seeing Sigrid’s house, adorned with decorations and bursting with presents, they decide to steal Christmas from her.
Such is the background to Christmas Trolls, the new seasonal show from Bristol-based collective the Little Things Theatre, who are touring the show in southwest venues this December.
Co-directors Josie Hunt and Imogen Senter both studied at the University of Bristol, and formed the Little Things in 2017.

Since then, they have produced A Dog’s Brexit, A Worm’s Home, Snow Day, Koala and Me, and most recently – Halloween Trolls, which was a site-specific show in Page Park, and a first outing for Tig and Mig.
Aiming their work at five- to 11-year-olds and their families, the company mission is to feed the imagination, nourish the soul, inspire the mind, and help their young audiences to engage with big topics.
In Christmas Trolls, through a vibrant and uplifting production full of songs and silliness, the narrative offers people the chance “to connect with a deeper story about how unemployment can affect families, especially at Christmas time”.

Christmas Trolls (age recommendation 5-11, though younger/older siblings are welcome) is at The Southville Centre on December 17 at 11am and 2pm and The Theatre Shop, Clevedon on December 18, at 2pm and 4pm. Ticket links for all shows are available from www.thelittlethingstheatre.co.uk.
