Tricky returning to Bristol for one-off performance

One of Bristol’s most celebrated musical exports is set to return to his hometown for a “rare and historic” one-off live performance.

Tricky, who was one of the founding members of Massive Attack before going solo in 1995, is set to headline the Bristol Beacon on May 17 2026.

The performance will marks the first time that the Knowle West-born musician has performed at the renowned music venue.

The performance will see Tricky accompanied by special guest and longtime collaborator Marta Zlakowska, “whose distinctive voice and on-stage chemistry with Tricky have become a key part of his recent live shows” according to the Beacon team.

Pre-sale tickets will become available on Wednesday at 10am, with general tickets on sale from Friday via www.bristolbeacon.org/whats-on/tricky
