Swimming Girls announce disbandment

After a successful 4 year run supporting the likes of Pale Waves and a string of festival seasons, the dark-dream-poppers have announced they are no more.

The 4 piece announced on Twitter today:

“After 4 amazing years of working together as a band we have decided to split to follow new creative ideas. You have been the best fans we could have asked for, THANK YOU for your support! We are all Swimming Girls forever. We’ve been lucky enough to play all over the UK at venues and festivals we had dreamt of when we started out and to work with some amazing people on the way.”

Some bands will call it quits, others will pursue new projects, it seems as though Swimming Girls will be around and pursuing different creative avenues. In the mean time, just keep swimming.
