Preview: Dot To Dot 2023

By Issy Packer  Tuesday May 16, 2023

Dot To Dot is one of the best places to find some of the most exciting artists on the scene in some of the most intimate venues, a place to catch some of the soon-to-be biggest names in the industry.

Returning on May 27, the festival is only held at two locations across the UK: Bristol and Nottingham.

The all-dayer will take place at 13 different venues around the city, including Dareshack, Mr Wolfs, Exchange, The Lanes and Strange Brew.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

Topping the bill this year are Leeds four piece Yard Act and Toronto-based band Alvvays.

Elsewhere on the lineup are Dublin post-punk group The Murder Capital, Birmingham singer-songwriter Kofi Stone, rapper Fin Foxell and Irish producer yunè pinku.

Dot To Dot also aims to support a whole heft of local artists, giving them the chance to perform alongside some of the best bands around.

The South West edition includes the likes of Grove, Ishmael Ensemble, Tlya X An, Getdown Services, Saloon Dion, Belishas and many more.

Festival booker, Joshua Ward said: “We’re hyped to be announcing yet another round of incredible talent joining us for 2023, with this year’s festival set to bring some of the most exciting artists on the rise to our favourite Bristol and Nottingham city centre music venues.

“We feel that this incredible running of artists encompasses the future of UK music, and we can’t wait to introduce this year’s audiences to them.”
