Ishmael Ensemble recipient of PPL Momentum Music Fund

Bristol collective Ishmael Ensemble have received the PPL Momentum Music Fund which will go towards producing the band’s third album.

The PPL Momentum Music Fund offers grants of £5k-£15k for UK based artists/bands to break through to the next level of their careers.

Previous recipients include Little Simz, Sam Fender, Kae Tempest, Knucks, Hannah Peel, Big Joanie and Shygirl.

The band have been applying since 2017 and have now been awarded the grant for 2024.

Other recipients for this years grant include Walt Disco, Lambrini Girls, FaceSoul, Dani Larkin, CVC, Cloth, Cardinal Black, Alex Virgo, Speakers Coroner Quartet and Melin Melyn.
