“This is one of Dnb On The Bike’s most anticipated cycles every year and the weather is set to be perfect for it,” Whiting told Bristol24/7.
“I’m so delighted to get everybody out specifically with it being in Bristol as it’s always such a class and important ride showcasing so many different and unique aspects in its very own way.”

Whiting added: “Bristol is always one of the most fantastic rides I do across the whole calendar. It has a culture, audience and demographic which needs preserving as it’s a city like no other.
“It’s a shame to hear about the developments that are being processed on Turbo Island.
“Across all of my visits, we have passed that iconic and widely known part of Bristol and it’s sad to hear that it could soon no longer be present.
“I also want to give a massive shout out to Bristol24/7 who have covered the rides every time I have visited and it’s an absolute pleasure to have the support from the team year in year out.”
