HiLife Hifi Live

It would be fair to say that this will be a club night with a difference. Not content with blending classic and contemporary African music with an array of bass music influences, the HiLife Hifi crew has invited two scintillating live acts along for the ride. Alongside local hero Bass Clef you’ll find Africa Express member Mim Sulieman, who will be accompanied by a six-piece band playing an exciting mix of disco, Afrobeat, house and electronica.

Soulworks v Hot Buttered Soul

You shouldn’t need an excuse to head to The Plough in Easton, home of one of the city’s best soundsystems and a string of killer parties. This disco and house session from two well established local crews looks set to be another cracker.

Room 237

Few promoters understand the industrial roots of techno better than Room 237. This month, they welcome German techno stalwart Mike Dehnert to Bridewell Island for another dark and murky subterranean session. Expect the best kind of raw, bleak beats.

Look out for sets from US house legend Lil Louis, former Panoramabar Berlin resident Prosumer, new Futureboogie signing Mark E, and Glaswegian party-starter Jackmaster.
