Bristol to play in Bristol at Spiegeltent
The first live outing of a band called Bristol could only happen in Bristol.
The Spiegeltent will host what promises to be a unique concert in a unique venue.
Bristol the band is the new project of Nouvelle Vague co-producer Marc Collin (below), who has reinvented 90s trip-hop classics from the likes of Massive Attack, Portishead and Smith & Mighty in a 1960s movie soundtrack style with added French je ne sais quoi.
It follows the themes of Nouvelle Vague, who turned punk tracks into Brazilian bossa nova numbers.
Bristol will be playing at the Spiegeltent next to Millennium Square on Wednesday, December 17. Visit www.christmasspiegeltent.co.uk.
Tickets go on sale via the Colston Hall website by next week.
