Bristol Sounds adds second date for in-demand artist
Following unprecedented demand, Bristol Sounds have announced a second date for the Streets less than a week after tickets for the first show went on sale.
Mike Skinner’s seminal project was the first of two headline acts to be announced for next year’s Lloyds Amphitheatre gig series, appearing on June 27.
Following the announcement that they would perform 2004’s multi-platinum album A Grand Don’t Come for Free in full, the show sold out on presale.

The additional show is set to be another album-in-full special, with longstanding hits including Blinded by the Lights, Dry Your Eyes and Fit But You Know It being performed together with the rest of the record for the first time.
Alongside the Streets, Bristol Sounds also announced Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark as the second of their headliners for next year’s open-air series of summer gigs.
The band, known for hits in the eighties including Enola Gay, recently completed the biggest UK tour of the four-decade career.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on October 17 at bristolsounds.co.uk
