Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Raptors rampage across America in part two of projected trilogy
It’s all about the dinosaurs this week, as Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom arrives in 2D and 3D. Arthouse alternatives are fashion doc McQueen and post-mumblecore romcom The Boy Downstairs. Thursday brings previews of Hereditary, which is reputed to be the scariest horror flick of the year.
If you’re a cheapskate who enjoys ballet and al fresco cinema, head on down to Millennium Square on Tuesday for the first of this year’s BP Big Screens events – a free outdoor screening of Liam Scarlett’s much-acclaimed new production of Swan Lake. This one’s also beamed simultaneously to cinemas if you prefer to watch it indoors.
