Met Opera: Carmen
Richard Eyre’s production of Bizet’s steamy opera, which now ranks as the most commercially successful event in the Met’s Live in HD broadcast series.

Royal Opera House: I due Foscari Encore
Tenor Placido Domingo gives his first London performance in a rare baritone role in Thaddeus Strassberger’s 2012 production of the Verdi opera. An ‘encore’ screening of last month’s live broadcast.

Andre Rieu’s 2014 Maastricht Concert Encore
Another chance to see the bouffant-haired, self-styled King of the Waltz delighting middle-aged folks with a programme of light popular classics in his hometown.

Bartlett Sher’s 2006 production of Rossini’s opere buffa, with Isabel Leonard as the feisty Rosina.

Bolshoi Ballet: The Pharaoh’s Daughter
Lavishly staged Egyptian hoofing in French choreographer Pierre Lacotte’s 2000 resurrection of Marius Petipa’s ballet.

Queen Rock Montreal
Classic stadium concert now remastered in 4K, so you can savour every hair in Freddie’s moustache.

Hockney
Randall Wright’s documentary portrait of the celebrated artist and smoking enthusiast, followed by a satellite Q&A broadcast from Hockney’s LA studio.

Royal Opera House: L’elisir d’amore
Laurent Pelly’s much-acclaimed staging of Donizetti’s crowd-pleasing comic opera returns to Covent Garden.
