By Karen Johnson  Wednesday Jun 18, 2025

Bristol will witness a local wrestler take on a big name star on Saturday.

Chris ‘The Stallion’ Bronson, who trained in a wrestling ring within a barn on a Bristol farm, is confident that he’s “taking that championship”.

The Bristol star will take on Eddie Ryan, who is best known for competing in WWE NXT UK and World of Sport Wrestling, at the British Kingdom Pro Wrestling event in Emersons Green Village Hall.

Bronson started his in-ring career in 2019

Ahead of the bout, Bronson said: “Eddie Ryan’s stepping into my territory…

“If you think The Stallion’s going down in the very place he was born and bred, you need your head checked.

“I’m taking that championship, and I’m going to show every Bristolian that we belong at the very top of this pro wrestling game.”

Also competing on Saturday will be Nadia Sapphire, Ruby Manitoba, Tiger Ali of Iran, Toby St John, Prince Phoenix and Mega Pegasus.

For anyone keen on learning wrestling professionally, British Kingdom Pro Wrestling also runs weekly training sessions throughout the year in Emersons Green.
